BACKGROUND
onnect5 has developed the Brigade Inventory Management System (BIMS) to meet the needs of a district office of the NSW Rural Fire Service (RFS). The application is designed to manage all inventory functions including stocktake, ordering, receipt, issues and returns.
BIMS keeps an accurate record of all equipment received and issued to individual brigades and members within their district.
The application has been developed with the assistance of the Warringah/Pittwater and Blue Mountains RFS District offices in NSW, Australia, with the software successfully operating at Warringah/Pittwater for over 8 months.
